Sheepshead Bay Piers
Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn
City piers on Emmons Avenue where the party boats berth and where people fish from the bulkhead.
NYC Parks places the Sheepshead Bay Piers on Emmons Avenue between Ocean Avenue and East 26th Street. Its historical sign says the first nine piers berth charter fishing boats and that people also fish from the piers themselves.
The same sign says daily fishing trips leave from here. Schedules and fares belong to the boats, not to the park.
Before you go
- —Give yourself time to park. The park page does not promise free parking at the piers.
- —Match the boat to a pier number from the boat's own site before you walk the waterfront.
- —Fishing from the piers is shore fishing, so New York's registry rules for shore anglers apply. Party-boat customers are covered separately.
